Internships

Put your technology expertise to the test by working in a paid, full-time internship at a local Fortune 500 corporation, technology start-up, university, or non-profit

Sponsoring high school student internships is not only a simple way to get a summer intern, but provides a chance for a student to engage in one of INTERalliance’s most immersive and unique programs.

Our student interns typically are in the top of their high school classes and have consistently beaten our employer's expectations for professionalism and output. We have had interns complete assignments in many roles from application development to graphic design, and from data analysis and collection to business analysis.

For hiring an intern, INTERalliance takes the administrative burden off companies and manages every part of the internship besides the actual work: from hiring to payroll and taxes. Our Central Office will collect resumes from our student application pool and submit them to the sponsor, from which they select the students they want to interview and provide time windows in which they can interview students. INTERalliance will then arrange with the students to pick interview time slots and communicate all of the logistics. From interviews, the sponsor will indicate their hiring choices, then INTERalliance will return their interview result to all students.

Once the sponsor selects their students, INTERalliance will work with the students to determine their available start and end dates and any requested vacation days. Then, INTERalliance will coordinate with the sponsor the overall schedule for the interns, then send an invoice for the entire summer's wages. From there, INTERalliance pays the interns for their work and will collect and pay all payroll taxes. Further, we cover an insurance policy that covers liability for all high school student interns.

Throughout the process, INTERalliance provides training and coaching to the high school students to prepare them for the interview process and to work in a professional environment. Employers are always blown away by the quality and professionalism of the students' work.
